Rustic Retreats: Beachy 1BR in the heart of FTL for 2 guests

Overall this was the perfect place to stay my goal for a business weekend trip. Positive: It was a good location for the business trip. The place was well kept and had no odors. Negative: There were a few invasive bugs (roaches). I didn’t have an issue because I was in for business and didn’t stay in building much, but maybe other clients vacationing will make a fuss about it. Building Needs exterminating.

DIRTY - DO NOT GO THERE Negative: We arrived and immediately smelled the dirty odor. The place was dirty, hairs, a cockroach, food under the sofa mattress, the bed sheets had stains, the floor had stains, the towels and lamp had stains. We left immediately. We submitted photos and sent them to the host who is unwilling to send us a refund. Upon arriving we packed and left and sat in car to attempt to rebook elsewhere as we only had a few hours before my daughter was due for surgery. The host has been unresponsive and booking.com no better; runaround. We have photos. Do not go to this place. Disgusting.
